QA Analyst

1. Provide entry-level analysis of requirement and design specifications. 2. Write test cases, execute test cases, and maintain test data. 3. Follow established guidelines when reporting defects using defect tracking tools. 4. Report project status to the QA lead. 5. Report software issues/concerns to the QA lead. 6. Provide recommendations for new tools and innovations designed to increase the performance and efficiency of the Quality Assurance department. 7. Assist development and QA team in troubleshooting and determining root-cause of application defects and issues. 8. Contribute to the improvement of software development quality control processes and procedures.

Qualifications: 1. 1+ years of software testing, programming, systems analysis or equivalent experience required; Internet software testing experience preferred; automated testing experience is a definite plus. 2. Experience with Microsoft Windows platforms and Microsoft Office is also required. 3. Good interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and written & verbal communication skills. 4. Entry-level understanding of testing types including system/integration and regression testing. 5. Entry-level understanding of the lifecycle of a software development project. 6. Working knowledge of the Internet.

DESIRED SKILLS: 1. Entry-level knowledge of Unix platforms. 2. Knowledge of relational databases.
