SR QUALITY ENGINEER

BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field is required, with 7+ years of relevant work experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment. Masters degrees in technical field preferred. Must have strong background knowledge of quality tools, including but not limited to: Statistical Process Control, Process Certification, Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Design of Experiments (DOE). You should have an understanding of lean principals, a working knowledge of lean manufacturing, manufacturing processes, quality procedures, and developing assembly instructions. Must have strong project management and proven problem solving skills. Proficiency with CAD systems is a must. Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Access, data-base software, and SPC software. ASQC Certification preferred.

We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, organized, team oriented and has a strong commitment to deliver excellent product on schedule. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability are required for success. Proven project management experience with excellent ability to follow through and drive process change. Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, while performing on cross-functional teams, as well as working independently under minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for success.
