QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

The QA Automation Engineer will perform the following job functions:

* Run existing automation suites in various testing environments to ensure that the suites are keeping up with the latest version of product; Identify and log any issues found, either issues with the product under test, or issues with the test suites. * Perform maintenances for the issues found - fixed the test suites so that they are working as expected and as originally designed. Need to provide the fix/solution in a timely manner. * Provide support to automation users: help them with issues encountered in using the test suites; identify and log any test suite issues as needed. * Develop new test suites based on requirements. Release the test suites to the automation environment for release testing use. Proper documentation is required. * Provide demo and training to the automation users for the released test suites.

Automation Skills Requirements:

* Automation with QTP for 1 year minimum (comparable experience can be considered). * Good grasp of a scripting language, preferably VB Script. * Working experience of SQL 4. * Know how to automate windows applications, IE is a must.

QA Skills Requirements

* Love testing * Have working experience of software development/release cycles * Able to come up with test plans and test cases after studying the product and its documentation, including the product specifications/requirements * Able to work with clearly established priorities

Degree Requirements: BS in Computer Science or related.
