Test Automation Engineer
Required Experience (Tool Development and other Technical Skills)
· 8+ years of experience in developing test automation frameworks, or other development tools, then using
these frameworks to support software engineering organizations:
· 5+ years of experience in providing excellent operational support to product development teams that
depend on having continuous access to builds, test results, etc.
· Should be an expert in scripting languages such as Perl, shell, etc. Experience with software languages
such as C++ and Java would be a significant advantage
· Must have expertise developing on Linux, UNIX, and Windows (Cygwin) platforms
· Demonstrated experience in building a robust and mission-critical framework that was used heavily by
multiple development teams would be a significant advantage
· Candidate must have a passion for seeing their role as providing a service to product engineering, and
should measure their success by how much value product engineering get from using the build and test infrastructure
· Prior product development experience would be a significant advantage
· Experience with build systems would also be of a significant advantage.
· Must have at least a B.Sc. in Computer Science, or other science and engineering major

· Team player who is willing and capable of successfully leveraging his/her peers
