DJ Tester - Mac Specialist

Responsibilities - Participate in SOFTWARE and hardware development process and testing cycle - Conduct testing, execute Use Cases, report comprehensive results - Review product requirements, functional specifications, and design specifications to create comprehensive test cases for achieving high levels of test coverage - Create and execute test designs and test cases that adequately test the functionality, compatibility, operability, and interoperability of a SOFTWARE application - Report and track SOFTWARE and hardware bugs, while verifying fixes as implemented - Provide daily updates on work and status of issues and items under test.

- Contribute to test plans, use cases, and test matrices.

- Contribute to a teamwork culture of making great computer based DJ products.

- Meet deadlines.

Qualifications - Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 2 years of SOFTWARE QA experience with emphasis on Black Box Testing principles.

- Min. 2-3 years experience working with performance technologies (DJ, electronic musician, MIDI programming, etc.) - Min 2-3 years working knowledge of Macintosh OS X with an emphasis on 10.4.x and higher. Macintosh OS X command line, advanced setup, hardware configuration, networking, including Linux for OS X knowledge, ‘Under The Hood’ type Mac Tech is desired.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or higher is desired.

- Good understanding of Quality Assurance processes and product life cycle preferred - Experience with a bug or ticket tracking system such as Tech-Excel DevTrack a plus.

- Familiarity of imaging systems such as Ghost, Acronis True Image and/or Net Restore is desired. - Experience using automated testing tools is desired.

- Excellent Networking and Computer troubleshooting skills required. - Strong initiative, personal accountability, and teamwork skills. -Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Working knowledge of MIDI Specification, DJ industry technologies, Audio Mixing, Routing and Recording, DAW Systems, Sequencers, Plug-Ins and Video formats and audio to video synchronization.

- Critical thinker, quick study; able to adapt on the fly to changes in workflow and priorities, as company needs demand. Flexibility is a must.

- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel a must.

- 30 WPM typing speed required.

- Passionate about music, audio and multimedia technology.
