ONLINE SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Recruit, train, monitor/appraise performance, time-keeping of SQA team members.
Educate, guide, mentor in SQA techniques
Participate in professional development of SQA Analysts and personal growth
* Plan, direct and co-ordinate quality assurance activities: test planning, execution, recording, ensuring all software products are released on schedule.
* Plan and direct quality assurance testing, ensuring success of each release and stage of Online, the final system and Custom Contracts.
* Develop/improve the definition of test philosophies and methodologies for all SQA activities; implement these improvements.
* Represent SQA department on product teams.
* Participate in strategy development and planning for end-state Online system performance requirements, deployment, and implementation.
* Define process/procedures to govern project delivery.
* Track and report activities for all systems.
* Report quality issues to senior management; educate/advocate specific changes.
* Review/maintain/improve quality assurance process maps, tying together all assurance efforts for Online.
* Establish/implement defect prevention techniques in the SDLC for all software.
* Identify, track, advocate resolution of software interdependencies and interoperability issues among product lines.
* Review and recommend systems for identifying, investigating, reporting and correcting quality problems.
* Software development activities include the development/implementation of processes and procedures for release management, defect tracking and issues management.
* 7+ years QA experience with extensive leadership/management of a QA team
* OR
* Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years QA experience with extensive leadership/management of a QA team.
