Software QA Engineer

Your Responsibilities: Ensures the quality of software through application of standard software QA practices and adherance to the Quality System and product development process. Typical responsibilities include: development and execution of test procedures, development of automated testing, analysis and submission of defects, working closely with developers to define test strategies and debug software, participating in cross-functional project meetings, writing project documentation, participating in continuous process improvement, and potentially serving in a lead QA role on software projects.

Your Profile: A minimum of 1 year of software quality assurance related experience preferably with medical software. Demonstrated capability in the creation and execution of test procedures and software debugging. Ability to write and communicate effectively. Some level of UNIX knowledge, shell or other programming skills, and Solaris and Windows operating system familiarity preferred. Exposure to computer hardware, networking, and test automation a plus. Specific experience with AutomatedQA TestComplete and/or Rational IBM products a plus. A scientific or engineering background, and domain knowledge of radiation treatment planning or medical physics, desirable.
