Senior QA Specialist

Position Summary The Senior QA Specialist will provide the full range of software testing and management services to our clients. Be pro-active in making specific QA recommendations to clients, and in implementing QA processes. Understand the software development and automated and manual testing processes. Assist with resolving software and network issues. Be the team leader on client projects, providing project management from project conception through completion. Develop and maintain knowledge of the current trends in software testing.

General Requirements The ideal candidate will have experience working with UNIX and Windows operating systems, relational databases, programming languages, networking and communications protocols. Have experience in application testing methods, with a specific emphasis in database or network software testing. Have team leader or management experience with top-notch organizational skills, and a strong desire for quality. Demonstrate the diplomatic skills needed to promote improvements in QA processes. Also, have the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical persons.

Qualifications A degree in computer science, computer programming, or a minimum of 5 years working in the software-testing industry. Plus 2 years tenure as a team leader or manager.
