System Quality Assurance Advisor

We are seeking a System Quality Assurance Advisor. Responsible for providing leadership in the design/development of product testing/quality processes and in developing testing architecture equal to that of commercial quality software. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Coordinates and identifies test cases to automate. Mentors staff in testing and product quality processes. Maintains current reference architecture and defines, monitors and collects testing/product quality data. Identifies quality needs of functional feature, performance and service requirements/components. Defines appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design. Reviews defects in assessing product quality. Reviews an application for testing needs and requirements/design quality. Consults to projects and application support groups regarding quality and testing and may participate in the transition of software and systems into production. Plans/ prepares and executes test assets and executes linkage from test plan to test scenarios and cases.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Requires an understanding or organizational impacts and trade-offs of quality processes. 5 years of testing/product quality experience and a quality certification within one year of job placement and prior to moving to the next job level.

* 5+ years experience performance engineering including: Performance test planning, test automation, application performance analysis and infrastructure performance analysis * 5+ years experience with HP (formerly Mercury) Performance Center and/or LoadRunner * 5+ years C language programming * 5+ years experience with automated scripting (one or more of Unix shell, Windows scripting, Perl, etc...) * Experience with outher performance testing tools (e.g. Rational Performance Tester, etc...)
