Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the design and execution of all assigned product test plans.
· Supervise the establishment, maintenance, and distribution of all assigned product testing and defect metrics.
· Direct the execution of project test plans and compile documented results.
· Supervise the setup and maintenance of testing hardware/software environments spanning multiple platforms.
· Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all assigned product defect databases.
· Assist in the planning and execution of manual and automated testing.
· Responsible for providing internal customers with project testing estimates.
· Work closely with the Software Test Lab by providing project related documentation, training, and mentoring.
· Assist the QA Manager with the mentoring of junior members of the QA Team.
· Provide hands-on testing support for product QA teams as required.
· Develop and oversee change control processes and practices.
· Help the QA Manager balance human resources across project teams.
· Assist with management of outsourced testing vendor relationships and productivity.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
· Five years experience in software testing.
· Five years experience in software testing project management.
· Three years experience with personnel management.
· Experienced with Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills among technical and non-technical audiences.
· Strong analytical and technical skills.
· Desire to be part of an agile software development team.
· High level of energy, capable of generating enthusiasm and motivating others.
· Excellent creative problem-solving ability.
· Strong team-building capability.
Desired Experience:
· Knowledge of agile development methodologies – XP, Scrum.
· Experience with Linux, JavaScript, and Flash.
· Experience with automated testing.
· Programming experience (object oriented languages).
· Experience with scripting languages.
· Experience with MYSQL or other relational database.
· Multilingual capabilities.
