Test Engineer

This position is key to the validation and release of navigation database products. The role of this position is to plan, execute and report on tests of navigation databases prior to their release into production and to customers. The work scope includes bench testing on target platforms as well as road testing inside vehicles.

Job Description

Test Setup

· Set up test environments in test laboratory and inside vehicle

· Define and maintain test cases for navigation databse tests

· Adjust test cases to changes in specifications

Testing· Maintain test case documentation

· Consolidate test results and create reports

· Enter database errors into ticket system

· Create test log files

Skills: Education & Experience

· Alternative or combined professional education within Information Technology, Geography, Cartography or any equivalent education

· Experience in Software, Quality Assurance and/or database testing is a plus

· Basisc experience with error management systems

· Driver’s Licence level 3 or B

· Advanced Office Application scills (MS Word, MS Excel)

· Advanced Business English
