Systems Verification Engineer
Position Description
The selected candidate will serve as a development Test Engineer during product development design verification and/or acceptance testing phases by conducting test plans, preparing test reports, and document resolutions of test incident reports.
Other responsibilities include:
Preparing design verification plans to validate system and sub-system design functionality, and performance to requirements.
Conducting in-house Design Verification Tests (DVT) and System integration tests.
Meeting design verification schedules and maintaining status of activities being performed.
Preparing documents describing test activities requiring verification and interfacing with subcontractors as needed.
Participating in offsite test and verification review activities and report status.
Collecting data to document test and verification events to verify configuration item performance.
Participating in integrated product teams and responding to actions pertaining to configuration item performance to requirements.
Using appropriate software tools such as Labview, generate test programs to validate electrical functionality, or collect test data for systems or sub-systems under test.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering with 2-5 years experience or 6-8 years equivalent combination of education and experience.
