QA Engineering

Purpose

You will be working closely and effectively with software developers in order to ensure timely delivery for defect fixes. Your knowledge of e-mail servers (Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino or Novell GroupWise) and wireless devices (Palm OS, Windows Mobile, J2ME, Symbian, and other smart phones) will be utilized to test our push e-mail software with a wide variety of wireless devices.

Main Responsibility Area Execute existing test procedures and tools according to established test plans and methods. Work with code coverage tools for dynamic and static code coverage analysis with various test suites. Isolate and duplicate software failures and produce detailed reports of verified and suspected problem areas. Verify fixes for reported problems Maintain existing test plans, methods, and test tools. Document defect reports and test summary / status reports. Assist in the design and development of effective test tools. Develop and enhance automated scripts to help replicate, troubleshoot, and regression test emergency patches.

Qualifications Requirements Currently pursuing undergraduate studies in Computer Science or comparable degree. Knowledge in HTML and Java Script. Test new software products, report defects, assist with debug.
