QA Engineer, Apama

The successful candidate will work in close knit multi-disciplinary teams whose focus is designing, building and delivering new functionality and software products.

The role will be to work alongside Software Engineers, determine QA functional coverage, design and build automated test-cases, and execute testing, in a manner close to Test Driven Development principles.

This individual must be willing to learn new technologies and methodologies.

Requirements # The successful candidate will have to be highly motivated and quality conscientious, with strong attention to detail # A degree in a technical or scientific discipline or equivalent experience in software engineering or quality assurance Knowledge and experience of QA methodology and practice will be considered highly desirable # Knowledge and some experience of high-level programming languages like Java and C++ is required # Comfortable working on both Unix and Windows operating systems # Knowledge of Python is desirable # Independent and able to self-teach new technologies # Able to work on their own initiative, take ownership of projects and deliverables, and work to tight deadlines # Excellent interpersonal skills in order to interact with peers, and customers when required.
