Software Testing Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

You will have the opportunity to work with exciting projects, helping to ensure that the product we release is of the highest possible quality. The successful candidate will be actively involved in setup of test environments, test case execution, reporting of results, test case development and planning.

Other responsibilities include: Working with sub-teams within the group to generate creative solutions to complex testing problems and the ability to participate in ongoing process improvement. Developing and executing various types of tests (either manual or automation based) such as regression, GUI, and functional tests on various products that our group is responsible for testing.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree in a computer or engineering related discipline * Proven experience of three or more years in a testing field with a keen attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work in a team environment with a variety of teams and groups * Solid bug tracking and test reporting skills * Excellent analytical and problem determination skills * Detail-oriented and creative with a questioning mind Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

* Knowledge of wireless technology; Knowledge of DevTrack defect management tool * Knowledge and/or experience using software engineering test tools such as Test Director Knowledge and/or experience with MS Office suite
