Quality Assurance Specialist IV

Summary The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will assist the management team by providing Q support. Ensure organizational systems training are in place, documentation and design controls are appropriate, assist with update of SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and various other documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

1. Documentation of plans, standards, processes and procedures that will ensure that the development of projects and systems is in compliance with the defined IA Systems Life Cycle (SLC).

2. Conduct peer reviews of work products created or updated during each phase of the SLC, process involvement initiatives and reviews, audits, and assessments.

3. Provide Quality Action Reports and Quality Assurance Escalation Procedures.

4. Reviews metrics, reports, and surveys of systems and processes to meet organizational and business needs.

5. Maintain, identify, collect/ion, indexing, retrieval, disposition of quality documentation, metrices and record maintenance.

6. Assist staff in preparing for monthly Performance Management Reviews.

7. Test and evaluate requirements.

8. Testing will include helping assure an RDTG Test Lab can be run effectively.

9. Adhere to all CFS employment policies and procedures.

10. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor of Science or Arts degree, with five or more years of experience in the quality assurance field. Extensive experience developing, implementing, and assessing Quality Management Systems that are ISO 9001:2000 and SEI CMMI compliant.

Computer Skills Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications using the MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Sharepoint is a plus.
