Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Qualifications: - Proven experience with automated test tools for back end GUI systems. Specific knowledge with Verifix and Squish is a plus. - Working knowledge of Order Management Systems required. - Knowledge of Equities Trading Concepts, Industry Practices and Workflows- a big plus. - Proven experience in converting high level requirements into system functional specifications. - Proven experience in writing manual and automated test scripts - Proficiency in Unix and Linux - Ability to cope with change and shifting in project priorities while ensuring quality in testing - Ability to interact effectively with management, development, and other support groups - Ability to balance and prioritize work load to ensure timely delivery - Excellent verbal and written skills - Programming background is a plus

Responsibilities: - Lead QA test releases for server and GUI based systems. - Design, plan, document and implement a comprehensive suite of test cases for GUI and Server based Systems. - Develop testing tools to automate testing. Convert existing manual test scripts into automated scripts. - Write system specifications and distribute to development, support and business management groups. - Closely work with development to understand system functionality and communicate testing results. - Responsible for writing detailed defects and converting existing test scripts into Test Director
