Junior/Mid-level Integration and Test Engineers
This individual will assist in the testing and integration of products that save lives through air traffic control on airport surfaces.
Responsibilities:
* Provide support to Test Leads across multiple programs / projects
* Develop and execute test approaches and procedures for hardware, software, and system level testing
* Create test scenarios using various simulators
* Conduct and support system integration in a laboratory environment and an operational environment
* Create and validate test tools
* Participate in product reviews and status meetings
* Conduct engineering dry runs, formal testing, and regression testing
* Perform data analysis, assist with test briefings, and write test reports
* Assist in hardware and software troubleshooting
* Generate and investigate problem reports, suggesting well-conceived solutions
* Integrate and Maintain lab environments
* Work in accordance with SOPs
Qualifications:
Education Required:
* Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) in engineering discipline or Physics.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in a software / system integration or test environment
Technical Skills Required:
* Comfortable in a test lab environment
* Familiarity with Microsoft tools and Microsoft Windows applications
* Ability to manage a dynamic workload in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with software, hardware, and system test methodologies
* Experience with software, hardware, and system integration processes
* Experience in testing SW applications (developing test steps, conducting test, and documenting results)
* Experience in performing witnessed testing for internal and external customers
* Understand the use of configuration management, requirement management systems, and automated test tools
* Familiarity with SUN Solaris, UNIX, Linux and real-time operating systems
* Familiarity with TCP/IP networking
* Familiarity with DOORS, Razor, and JIRA
* Knowledge of air traffic control products and procedures
* Ability to write test software in embedded and Windows-based environments, such as Matlab, Java, Labview, and C/C++
