Quality IQA Inspector

Perform Level I inspections on incoming materials and units with a solid understanding of ANSI sampling methods. Complete inspections using blue prints, drawings and specifications. Perform in-process product inspections as needed. Complete simple QC power-up/high pot type testing level. Document product failures using DMR forms and tags using defined defect codes. Perform hold inspections and sorts as required and complete scrap documentation as needed.

Education and Experience:

Position requires a minimum of 1-2 years experience working in Quality Assurance performing quality inspections for an electronics company. Experience working with contract manufacturing is essential. Position requires IPC 610 certification and ESD training. The position requires a committed and disciplined individual with good organizational and communications skills, and the capacity for attention to detail. An appreciation of recognized QA process and best practices is assumed. Proficiency with PC’s and various software applications is required. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
