Quality Assurance and Testing Specialist

Requirements and Desired Qualifications of this Role:

The successful candidate will have three or more years experience integration, interface, system, performance/stress/load and user acceptance testing for enterprise class software systems using N-Tiered allocation environments.

Application systems software and related components testing during all phases and stages of the product development life cycle

Serve as a key member of the project management team to coordinate and track all software testing plans to ensure all objectives are fully satisfied according to specified test criteria

Working knowledge of automated testing tools including Rational Functional Tester and LoadRunner.

Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills essential

Must possess an in depth knowledge of software quality assurance/testing methodologies and practices

Sound knowledge of Application servers including WebSphere or JBoss.

Database knowledge must include one of the following; IBM DB2, Oracle, SQL 2003 or MySQL.

Testing or QA Certification (CSQE, CSQA, CSTE) is preferred..

Key Attributes for Success: We require someone who is willing to develop test plans, automate testing tools, document quality issues and suggest solutions.
