Sr Test Equipment Engineer

Description This position is for an engineer (preferably electrical engineering degreed) to be an integral part of the Data Link / MEs / TDMS group within the Government Systems Test Engineering department. As a team member duties, as assigned by the project engineer, would primarily focus on existing test equipment. Will be responsible for supporting factory test equipment for JTIDS and will be involved in the future upgrade as well. Additional test engineering support for the following products AN/URC-138 Support Recorder, SatSim, MITS and Link 16 terminal support tools. Must be willing to support pre-Windows era computers and learn legacy software to support these product lines. Knowledge of FORTRAN-77/C++/.net software languages. Good troubleshooting skills (including being able to read and analyze schematics), and excellent communication skills would be helpful in this position. Position requires a Security Clearance.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field, and six years of related experience, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree, twelve years of related experience.
