Manager of Software Quality Assurance

Prioritize tasks both individual and team levels and align them with project goals - Responsible for Escalating Requests for Decision including Change Requests and Issues/Risks - Responsible for Quality Assurance and Signing-off of all Deliverables - Responsible for developing Test Scripts; Participating in structured Test Plan/Script reviews; and, Building and executing test cases. - Responsible for testing strategies based on functional specifications - Responsible for Supporting Production Support Team for Tier 3 - Work closely with Development Manager

Qualifications: Requirements: - Strong Quality Assurance Methodology, extensive knowledge of quality assurance concepts, practices, and procedures - Excellent problem solving skills with ability to follow project standards and procedures - Good oral and written communication skills - Time management, planning, and coordination skills - Demonstrate ability to operate and make maximum use of approved project budget - Participate in establishing positive product development atmosphere through effective and proactive team interaction - Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment - Desire seven or more years experience: in Software Quality Assurance roles, with 3+ years in a QA leadership role Strong experience with defect metrics and tracking Strong experience working with testing automation tools and creation of automated testing scripts Strong experience in UI testing and testing of web-based applications Strong experience in data validation testing of relational databases, Proficient in SQL Web Application Testing experience Mercury Quality Center or any other quality management tools QTP Pro or any other testing automation tools
