IT Quality Assurance Analyst Sr
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A. Develops thorough test plans for medium to complex
systems to ensure application functionality meets original
requirements to project.
B. Works closely with SOFTWARE development staff to test and
review applications developed in house or purchased from
third party vendor prior to installation.
C. Becomes knowledgeable of medium to complex business
applications systems as they are used within the business
department, research and respond to application inquires.
D. Responsible for the mentoring of Quality Assurance Ana-
lysts and Associate Quality Assurance Analysts
E. Develops and maintains documented standards for quality
acceptance of SOFTWARE
F. Represents QA Area At Project Meetings
G. Maintains up to date test environment
H. Ensures end user documentation correlates with program
functionality
I. Maintains an on going self study program to enhance QA
skills and knowledge.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: Associates Degree: Computer Science Or Re-
lated Subjects
2. Experience: 6 or more years working as Quality As-
surance Analyst
3. Experience: 8 years of experience as Quality Assurance
Analyst
4. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Good understanding of com-
puter hardware, computer SOFTWARE. Good understanding
of various QA procedures and products, Proven ability to
write very thorough test plans. Ability To Train Less Ex-
perienced QA Staff.
