Quality Assurance Test Analyst

Responsibilities:

§ On-line testing.

§ Participate in requirement, design, code review and related software meetings.

§ Review requirements to formulate test plans, scenarios and scripts that provide comprehensive testing; provide feedback to Business Analysts regarding any issues or suggested enhancements.

§ Formulate overall test plan, specific scenarios and detailed test scripts.

§ Work with QA/Test Team to coordinate and conduct all facets of testing including planning, execution and reporting as it relates to end to end, integration, regression, performance, stress, user acceptance testing.

§ Help lead creation, deployment and adoption of testing strategies, disciplines, standards, tools and processes in support of release QA/testing activities.

§ Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of issues.

§ Ensure smooth integration and/or rollout of systems into operational environments by coordinating closely with the affected functional and technical teams.

§ Work well with limited supervision, ability to multi task under tight deadlines and report status.

§ Provide communication and reporting to Management regarding testing progress, status and issues.

§ Learn and understand all related system applications thoroughly.

§ Maintain proficiency in technology and tools to enhance productivity and quality of system development.

§ Engage in software quality assurance and testing process improvements.

§ Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

§ Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

§ Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi task and re prioritize under tight timelines.

§ Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively communicate both oral and written to project team, Business partners and Management.

§ Ability to work under tight deadlines with limited supervision

§ Five (5) to seven (7) years experience and in-depth knowledge of writing test plans, test cases, detailed test scripts as well as tracking results, defects, resolution and reporting status.

§ Experience with automated testing tools.

§ Ability to follow all relevant IT standards and procedures to ensure compliance.

§ Working knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies.

§ Bachelor’s degree mandatory
