QA Engineer
Description Summary
Build test suites by developing and executing test cases/scripts
Work with supervisor to maintain test cases and review test plans
Work with developers to examine and resolve issues
Provide feedback on test strategies
Establish baselines for performance characteristics of the products
Create concise, informative bug reports based on guidelines
Participate in the entire testing lifecycle including:
o Automated Testing
o Functional Testing
o Performance Testing
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Strong affinity for documentation
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detailed oriented with a passion for quality
Good understanding of user interface standards
Working knowledge of browser and desktop based applications
Ability to think through and work independently on diverse problems
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Some software testing experience
Additional relational database experience is a plus
