Follow procedures that apply to the QA Technician position.

Investigate and recommend new inspection tools and their applicability to current applications.

Work with other personnel to help define problems with parts and materials; identify root causes; develop, implement, and verify solutions.

Move material and products as needed to perform Technician responsibilities.

Maintain an organized, effective and efficient workplace.

Work in a safe manner. Work to keep accidents from happening.

Other tasks as determined by appropriate QA management.

Education and Experience: (Qualifications)

Requires a 2 year associates degree or equivalent work experience and formal Quality Technician schooling/training. This includes use of metrology equipment, GD&T, and calibration training. In addition, 5+ years experience in a Quality Technician role.

Strong computer skills, with ability to use email, Microsoft Office suite of programs, basic navigation of an ERP system, and other computer software.

Candidate must be able to take courses or seminars as determined by QA management to improve/sharpen technical or other work related skills.

Certification as a Quality Technician (CQT) or similar certifications are preferable.
