QA Engineer

• Identify component risk areas and articulate to the team a testing strategy that properly accounts for these risks. • Define and execute black-box, grey box and white-box tests, report results, and coordinate test execution efforts with local and remote testing teams. • Track and report testing status, participate in daily standups and refactoring efforts. • Participate in the culture of continuous improvement in looking for ways to improve the process of developing and releasing quality software which meets our customer needs. • Mentor other QA Engineers when appropriate, and lead specific testing efforts.

Required Skills: • 5+ years experience in quality engineering and software test development. • Must be detail oriented with experience in one or more areas of test automation, quality assurance and web server technologies. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Demonstrated results in delivering high quality in an agile environment with minimum supervision. • Strong software design verification and test development instincts and creativity. This includes problem solving and quality risk assessment. • Experience in .Net, Sql Server, MS Visual Studio highly desired. • Experience using Eclipse, application SDK’s, Java, or web architecture based testing in the daily testing of a work product highly desired. • Incumbent must pass background check.

Preferred Skills/Experience: • Experience in SEM, SEO and web analytics. • Experience with SQL and relational databases. • Experience using QTP, Selenium, RedGate, Ruby, or jMeter test automation tools and technologies.
