Software Tester
Execute manual and automated test suites in support of iterative development schedules.
Create, update, and modify manual functional test specifications.
Create, update, and modify automated functional test suites.
Provide early feedback on new features via requirements and software inspection.
Document, review, and validate corrections for customer reported defects and feature requests.
Communicate progress, risks and test coverage effectively.
Work with the Client Services Organization to determine the severity and priority of customer reported issues.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline.
3+ years experience in testing web-based, n-tier systems in a .NET/C# environment.
3+ years experience designing and implementing automated test suites for web-based applications.
Must be self-motivated and dependable, capable of working independently, reliably and being highly accountable.
Experience working with application development tools, such as version control, defect tracking, build management and test management.
Experience working in a SCRUM environment.
Experience with Agile software development principles
Experience with Test Driven Development practices
Working knowledge of the following tools and technologies:
--- Visual Studio 2008 Team System (ASP.NET and C#)
--- Test Complete
--- Watir/Watin
--- Microsoft Silverlight
--- Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook
Comfortable with both verbal and written communication to different audiences and functional teams.
