Team Lead, QA Quality Assurance Technical
Examples of Duties
Oversees team consisting minimally of 3 people. Number of direct reports will increase based on experience of leader.
Receives assignments in the form of objectives; may determine how to use resources to meet schedules, objectives and goals. It is expected that upper level management will provide this position with coaching & guidance, as needed. Shares accountability for goal attainment.
Provides direct supervision to team. Manages the coordination of the activities of a section or department through subordinates. May become actively involved in daily work, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.
Communicate effectively in both verbal (day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written forms (test artifacts). Will be required to present at technical sessions and facilitate meetings.
Able to plan and execute functional/regression testing entire applications with high quality, validate and regress bug fixes and develops basic QA documentation. Ensures that the QA project teams are satisfying the production readiness quality criteria for Beta and GA releases.

Position Requirements:
AA degree or Bachelors degree in an IT related field.
4-6 years experience in software quality assurance.
Minimum 2 years experience in a QA leadership role.
Experience with automated testing (preferred).
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks/responsibilities-scheduled duties as well as last minute assignments.
Able to communicate via oral and written communication.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, associates, and staff.
