Software QA Engineer

# Drafts, revises, and maintains test plans and scripts. # Executes test procedures according to software requirements specifications. # Logs defects and makes recommendations to address defects. # Documents, evaluates and researches test results. # Retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved. # Documents evolution of testing procedures for future replication.

# Six (6) or more years experience with testing Web applications and Client-Server applications

# Proficient with testing tools such as WinRunner, Quick Test Pro, LoadRunner and Quality Center.

# Experience with Black-box, Functional, Stress, Regression, Load, Unit, Performance, Integration, and Transaction testing.

# Proficient in analyzing the Business Requirements (BRD / PRD), System Requirement Specifications (SRS), Functional Requirement specification (FRS), Design Documents to formulate Test Plans, Test Strategies, and Test Cases for both Manual and Automated testing.

# Experience with test case execution, Test results analysis, test matrices generation, defect tracking and reporting using Quality Center.

# Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the Testing Methodologies.

# Strong experience with SQL, and strong exposure to relational databases including Proscript, Oracle and SQL Server.

# Strong experience with automation technology and scripting tools such as JSON, and Selenium
