QA Test Engineer
Responsibilities:
* Testing, documentation, status reporting, and trouble shooting
* Interaction with various stake holders such as: Developers, System Architects, Business Analysts, Business Unit Representatives, Vendors, on-shore and off-shore test resources
* Plan functional, automated and performance testing effort
* Manage resource assignments and priorities
* Manage and provide work direction to other employees
* Coordinate test environment configurations and maintenance
* Assist test manager in identifying hardware, software and resource costs
* Analyze and report defect tracking, resource utilization, and testing metrics
*
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in related field
* 5 + years of testing experience - functional, regression and integration testing
* 4+ years of automation testing experience with QTP / WinRunner
* Performance testing experience with Load Runner or Silk Performer is highly desired
* Industry certification preferred (CSTE, etc)
* Strong knowledge of test concepts, practices, and procedures
* Technical skills HP Quality Center, Rational Clear Quest, MS SQL, PL/SQL developer, Advantage Data Architect, ED4WINDOWS, QCConnect.exe
* Experience working with off shore resources
* Must be familiar with software development and design concepts
* Ability to recognize and trouble-shoot issue resolution
* Must have a strong knowledge of SDLC and roles
* Must have strong critical thinking and analytical skills
* Read and write English fluently
* Motivated, self-starting, team oriented
* Strong leadership skills and excellent presentation skills
