QA Project Leader

The QA Project Leader will be responsible for the following:

Manage end-to-end testing efforts of multiple projects or initiatives with QA resources in multiple locations.

Responsible for the creation of all QA supporting documentation such as estimates, test strategies and approach documents.

Responsible for the review and approval of test cases.

Represent QA and actively participate in project meetings with cross functional teams.

Drive continual improvement of product quality.

Participate in all phases of the SDLC to ensure comprehensive test coverage and requirements are met.

QA resource planning and scheduling.

Translate business requirements into test cases.

Lead the automated performance testing efforts.

Provide guidance for automated testing to increase QA efficiencies and improve quality.

Qualifications: The QA Project Leader must have the following qualifications:

-5 to 7 years software QA experience

-2 to 3 years experience as a QA Lead

-Strong quality assurance background

-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to multi-task

-Experience in an offshore testing model

-Strong understanding of Quality Assurance principals

-Strong understanding of Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC)

-Solid understanding of automation and performance testing preferred

-Experience with HP Quality Center preferred

-Experience with HP Performance Center, HP Quick Test Pro a plus

-SQL and MS Project preferred

-MS Office required
