SQA Software Engineer

Write and maintain test tools to conduct performance testing of Java and C++ applications, and profiling of environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Develop testing applications using Java, C++, and Perl Conduct performance tests of new software releases, and software patches as assigned. Test redundancy and clustering of environments. Profile server and network utilization. Assist in the automation of existing test procedures. Update existing tests as required. Assist in training of new employees as instructed by the QA manager.

Qualifications/Requirements/Experience:

Must be a US Citizen One to three years prior experience in a similar or related position isdesired. B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering. Proficient in Java and C++ code. Strong communication, organization and multi-task abilities. Advanced computer skills, technical aptitude, and problem solving skillsare required. Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, VMware, and system administrationis desired. Ability to produce quality work in a consistent and timely manner. Ability to document procedures and issues clearly. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks, and as part of ateam
