QTP Automation Script Developer

3+yrs of high volume automated test script development and enhancements using quicktest pro (QTP) / vbscript Designs software QA methods and procedures for use by QA and development staff to ensure all information systems meet minimum company standards and end user requirements - Develop QA test plans and project staffing estimates - Work closely with the other members of the Development Team and Marketing to review the designs of systems, implement test plans, and test the quality of software products. - Assemble and build software projects and installation packages. - Work closely with the Development team to insure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed - Work closely with the Documentation team to insure the content is meaningful and correct - Communicate with customers regarding installation issues and software defects - BS in Computer Science, MIS, business or equivalent education/training/experience - Experience of reporting tools / reports testing - Crystal Reports, Business Object, advanced SQL usage - Experience of UNIX servers - full awareness of OS and variety of commands, ability to read and test UNIX shell scripts - Telecoms business knowledge - Developing and executing quality assurance test scripts, tests plans and checklists - Application of software development life cycle concepts - Experienced with Quality Center bug tracking system -Very experienced building complex automated test scripts, the individual must have 5-6 years of Automation experience using Quick test pro (QTP). He/She should be familiar with all aspects of Automation techniques specific to web application testing. - The canidate must be able to write their own functions / re-usable actions that will be used across all application suites. Must be an expert using Regular expressions, Creating various check points, Parameterizing tests, Using regular expressions. - Must have solid understanding and work experience with QTP Advanced concepts - Experience with Automation Frameworks - Extensive experience with VBScript (creating and modifying the Functions and Sub-Procedures) - Experience with automating Flex/Flash applications using QTP - Expert in using Object Repository (Local and Shared OR, Could be able to play with the repository) - Very Strong work experience with Descriptive and Dynamic Descriptive Programming - Multi Browser script development - Must be able to modify the scripts to run them on different browsers Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems 5+ years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Strong programming and analytical skills PC literacy, including desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.) Strong business knowledge and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of information systems concepts Strong knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures Demonstrated decision-making and leadership abilities Strong organizational and problem solving abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills keywords: QA quicktest pro quicktestpro qtp quick test professional testing tester scripts vbscript c# scripting scripts vb script vbsripting automation auto automation -
