Gathering and interpreting performance test requirements
*
Create detailed performance test plans
*
Design, Develop, Execute and Analyze Performance Test for complex applications and systems
*
Identifying and Assisting project teams with application and system tuning needs
*
Application performance testing and analysis (load, stress, duration, tuning)
*
Providing sign-off (Pass/Fail notification) for production changes
*
Participate on the Change Review board
*
Participate in hardware sizing
*
Debug code defects related to application performance issues
*
Review business requirements, functional specifications, to understand how to plan application capacity
*
Execute scripts using HP Load Runner or similar tool
*
Document application capacity plans for each application
*
Work with Business Analyst to determine requirements are captured correctly
*
Work with development team to analyze and resolve defects related to performance and capacity factors
* 3+ years performance testing experience using HP Load Runner
* 3+ years business analysis experience
* 3+ years system administration/engineering (AIX, Windows) -or- development experience
* 3+ years hands-on experience developing VuGen scripts
* 3+ years hands-on experience building and executing LoadRunner scenarios
* 3+ years hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting LoadRunner results (LRA/LRR)
* Experience handling multiple concurrent projects
* Understanding of the waterfall software development life cycle (SDLC)
* Strong business and technical writing skills
* 3 + years working with Websphere, Oracle 10G , MS SQL, Sybase, UNIX AIX, C, K, Perl, Transfer protocols -MQ & MQ Client, XML , XML
