Software Quality Assurance Manager

* Conducting performance reviews, setting goals, assisting with career progression planning, motivating, mentoring and coaching.

* Managing multiple concurrent projects utilizing project management methodology and strong time management and team leadership skills. Ability to provide estimates for software quality work with high level of accuracy

* Utilizing a strong understanding and background in formalized test methodology to include Black and White Box Testing and Test Automation including Test Planning, creation of Test Cases and Test data setup for software products written in various programming languages, as well as Web based and

* Database applications.

* Reviewing Project Requirements and Specifications documentation. You must have advanced ability to analyze and comprehend requirements and design specifications to extract necessary information for accurate test planning.

* Supporting Software Development Lifecycle process and contributing to the refinement of the process for the highest level of efficiency and practice.

* Recognizing and providing timely feedback to Sr. Management with regard to project status and roadblocks.

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or related area.

* Three plus years of direct people management which includes performance management, performance counseling, and other human resources functions.

* Proven project management experience, managing multiple concurrent projects

* Advanced understanding of test methodology and planning

* Recent experience creating and executing test cases. Prefer experience with Test Case Automation, Test Case Management tools, bug tracking tools

* Ability to read UML and other Technical Documentation

* Understanding of web-based, object oriented and multi-tier distributed architecture

* Advanced understanding of Relational Database structure and testing
