Senior Software Development Test Engineer

· Write and own test plans, test cases and participate in code reviews;

· Design and implement tools using C# or Java that will be used across teams;

· Interact with developers and understand product design;

· Write performance scripts and execute them;

· Understand the configuration of the system and support deployments;

· Collaborate with the team to build tools using C# or Java that increase the visibility of the team’s work and results; and

· Communicate on long distance shared QA projects.

Requirements: Master's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related academic field plus two (2) years of experience in the Job Offered or as a Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or similar. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related academic field plus five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience in the Job Offered or as a Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or similar. Experience which may be gained concurrently, to include one year experience of each of the following: 1) design, development, execution and debugging of performance tests using LoadRunner; 2) implementation of test cases and recommending improvements; 3) using UI automation tools including WinRunner or LoadRunner; 4) programming using C# or Java; 5) using .NET and MS SQL server technologies; 6) leading a test team.
