Senior Software QA Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Designs software testing plans and strategies.

* Implements software test plans.

* Identifies, isolates, reports and tracks product defects in the defect tracking system:

* Supports software applications:

Requirements:

The right candidate for this position will have 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing with proficiency in automated testing tools, especially Quality Center, QuickTestPro and LoadRunner.? Candidate will also have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively and will have strong people and project management skills with effective oral and written communications skills.? A strong sense of process, detail and follow through are essential for this position.?? Strong knowledge of software design and implementation, and communications interfaces.? Candidate must be able to build a comprehensive understanding and testing strategy based on a variety of engineering documents, product characterizations and test results.?

Education and Training Requirement

This position requires a BSCS or equivalent.? Advanced courses in software QA, software testing, and software reliability are preferred.
