Software Test Engineer

Position Summary You will be responsible for utilizing product domain knowledge and sound engineering practices, to develop software, which will be used to automate testing for our Logix controller products. You will need to understand and translate requirements to user stories and create software design and participate in design review. You will implement MSUI automation support for custom controls to enable test automation for GUI based software products and re-use or create new APIs to enable test automation for non-GUI services or products. You will also participate in code reviews for software implementation and develop, maintain and execute unit and functional test. You will report, track and fix anomalies.

Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• At least 3 years programming experience/knowledge in C#, VC++, COM • Experience with MSUI Automation is preferred • Familiar with Software Configuration Management Tool such as ClearCase • Good understanding of software development, using agile scrum • Knowledge on scripting language, such as Python will be advantageous • Knowledge of PLC programming and application will be advantageous • Have a good analytic and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work in team or independently, action oriented, and possesses strong drive for results • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
