Quality Assurance Manager
* Perform as a working Manager, and execute software testing lifecycle responsibilities, including white-box testing for data-driven applications and ETL programs
* Drive advancement of quality assurance practices across the organization resulting in increased team velocity while increasing the test effectiveness coefficient
* Planning and managing the test phases of all team projects, working collaboratively with software development and project management to develop test requirements and plans to ensure thorough coverage for each project
* Perform as a working Manager, and execute software testing lifecycle responsibilities, including white-box testing for data-driven applications and ETL programs
* Enhance testing process and coverage, and mentor test team to advancing testing methods, ensuring full test coverage
* Experience working with complex test matrices involving multiple product versions, customizations, and data states
* Standardize methods and practices across multiple product lines, including test planning, test case mgmt, bug tracking, and code promotion procedures. Implement traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
* Responsible for leading on-going efforts in automating test cases, and expanding the automation solution
* Proactively learn new technologies to improve the depth of testing
* 7+ years of testing experience
* 5+ year of experience with MS SQL Server 2000 or 2005. Ability to write queries, joins, use profilers and understand stored procedures
* 3+ years of experience in managing software test teams in a BI environment
* 2+ years of experience with test automation tools
* 1-2 years of experience managing off-shore testing teams
* Experience with.NET, ASP, COM, and/or VB development
* Strong decision making skills
* Experience testing database-driven applications
* Experience with software development lifecycles and testing methodologies
* Ability to meet deadlines and deliver with high quality
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Bachelor’s Degree – Computer Science preferred
