Quality Assurance Engineer

* Write and execute clear and concise test plans, test cases, test scripts, defect reports and release notes * Use your in-depth knowledge of SQL to perform data queries, table joins, etc… in order to execute white box testing responsibilities * Review functional and design specification documents and provide feedback * Perform functional testing, security and access validation, regression testing, installation testing, test data definition, backend testing and environment maintenance * Perform code review and debugging (e.g., “white box testing”) to ensure test plans are comprehensive and released code is ready for system integration * Prioritize and triage bugs in a release * Plan and coordinate User acceptance testing * Perform customer facing activities during UAT * Develop and maintain test automation frameworks * Proactively learn new technologies to improve the depth of testing

* Minimum of 5 years of testing experience * Minimum of 3 years of experience with MS SQL Server; write queries, joins, use profilers and understand stored procedures * Minimum of 3 years of experience with .NET, ASP, COM, and/or VB development * Ability to review and provide feedback on product specification and design * Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced development environment * Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality results * Strong decision making skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills * Should have a strong customer-focused attitude * Background in testing websites * Experience testing database-driven applications * Experience with software development lifecycles and testing methodologies
