Implementation & QA Specialist
• Create and maintain script distribution package by country and region
• Write and distribute user guides for script installation, upgrades, runtime operation, and account maintenance
• Provide a proactive and consultative approach to POS development; design solutions that increase agent productivity while decreasing errors
• Work with other technology teams and industry suppliers to evaluate best practices and implementation of technology solutions
• Special projects as needed
• Assume and perform other duties and responsibilities, not specifically outlined herein, as is proper and inherent to the position
• Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
• Efficient in reading, creating, and modifying process maps in Visio and/or Smart Draw
• Analytical skills
• Proficient PC skills, Windows software (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio)
• Customer service skills
• Organizational and prioritization skills
• Able to respond to change; able to be flexible and work with ambiguity
• Strong problem solving and process reengineering skills
• Minimum 5 years experience in travel reservation process, including operating scripts
• Minimum 3 years gathering and documenting script requirements, including testing end product
• Ability to prioritize work and work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and nontraditional hours to accommodate international markets
• Travel as necessary (less than 10%)
• Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly
• Must be able to take direction and work well with others
• Must be able to work under the stress of and meet deadlines
• Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately while meeting applicable productivity measures
• Must be able to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned
