Quality Assurance Analyst - IT

, OH his position will develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test scripts for new software products and changes/releases of existing software products and assigned initiatives. Identify report, escalate, monitor, and mitigate project and product risks. Produce status reports and appropriate associated metrics. Mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements Applicants should possess the following: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Chemistry or related scientific discipline. Minimum of three (3) years experience in a quality assurance and testing role (education may be substituted for experience). Testing experience must include: Develop, document and execute test cases and test scripts Define "Acceptance Criteria" for the assigned requirements Provide a traceability matrix linking test cases/scripts to requirement artifacts. Seek review and approval for test cases, test scripts and traceability matrix Monitoring test schedules Managing defects including documenting, triage, prioritization and validation Status reporting on product and project quality, resource allocation and progress against documented test plans Web-based applications and/or database intensive applications Excellent attention to detail, self-motivation and ability to work independently Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
