QA/test Engineer

* Develop test plans and test scenarios based on iteration content to support appropriate test coverage of user stories * Review user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications and other available information in order to develop test cases * Execute test cases and write defects as issues are identified * Provide recommendations to aid software development bug resolution * Write white/gray/black-box test cases to validate acceptance criteria * Execute and monitor automated regression test suite * Generate reports and provide test metrics as needed * BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent * 5+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience * 2+ years of hands on software test automation * 2+ years direct experience working with Unix(Linux), Windows, SQL, Java, .Net, JavaScript, HTML and XML * Experience with Shell scripting and batch commands * Object oriented testing experience * Excellent written and oral communication skills
