Sr. QA Engineer

Design and implement methods and procedures relating to quality assurance while ensuring all internal and customer requirements are met.

Review, analyze, and interpret supporting manufacturing documentations and department procedures ensuring the necessary criteria and provisions of AS9100 and customer requirement are met.

Work on a variety of diverse and complex problems in practical and innovative way and respond to inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies.

Work effectively and coordinate across multiple teams and participate in goal setting, performance analysis, and self-development activities.

Review nonconformance’s reported by customer and performs failure analysis to find real cause / root cause of the nonconformance and implement the appropriate containment, corrective and preventive actions.

Report to the Quality Manager, assist in improving the Quality Management System. This will be accomplished by manufacturing support including MRB dispositions, and first pass yield improvement, audits, training, and mentoring.

Education and Background: • B.S. Degree in Engineering or related discipline. • six or more years of experience in the Quality Assurance field preferably in aerospace electro-mechanical applications • Strong problem solving and communication skills
