Software Quality Assurance Analyst

- Test Planning, Analysis and Design • Works with project team to determine test scope, type of test cases required for each test phase, risk and dependency considerations, and project timeline. Identifies the test tools, technical and business level skills required to verify the application under test - Test Plan Development • Develops the test plans, test cases and SQA timeline for manual and/or automated application test verification - Test Environment Administration • Ensures manual and automated test cases are in a state of readiness. Verifies databases are set up and populated with the appropriate test data, access permissions granted, and testing tools are installed and functional - Test Plan Execution • Executes manual and/or automated component, functional, system, integration, performance and regression testing according to the test plan and established timelines. Leverages technical performance analysis skills and tools to assist in resolving application and/or hardware responsiveness issues - Project Reporting • Analyses, documents and maintains a SQA Status Report. Communicates with the Project Development team on a consistent basis to ensure timely risk mitigation. - User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Assists the Project Development team to assess, define, and then develop business-level test scenarios. Ensures test results are documented and that issue resolution and regression testing are timely - Testing Skills • Leverages project team interactions and continuous review of company documentation to ensure Medicare claims processing business skills are current. Frequents SQA and test tool vendor web sites for relevant testing methodologies and process improvement suggestions - Other Functions • Performs duties and functions not mentioned as required by the company

- BS in math, computer science, business systems, statistics, economics or degree in related field, or relative employment experiences - 2+ Years Technical Experience: Software Quality, Software Development, Business Analysis, Data Warehouse Development, or related field - Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience - Test plan and test case development experience for manual and/or automated projects requiring database knowledge, command of a query language/tools and web technologies - Exceptional written and oral communication skills - Competencies of an Ideal Candidate • Familiarity with healthcare application testing, specifically Medicare claims processing • Knowledge of automating test and defect tracking tools
