Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Creation of tools supporting the test automation efforts of the Quality Assurance Test Team.
Supports the existing test automation framework
Creates and supports misc. test tools under the purvue of the Automation Engineering Team
Demonstrates the ability to translate a high level concept into a tangible product
Understands and employees coding best practices based on current industry standards.
Demonstrates the ability to quickly understand complex problems
BS degree required
7+ years of enterprise level software architecture & development experience
7+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, .NET 2.0 - 4.0, IIS
7+ years of SQL Server experience (stored procedures, views, triggers)
2+ years of commercial experience with WPF, XAML, WCF, EF, LINQ, Lambda, Delegates
Solid understanding of common software design patterns
Solid experience with multithreaded programming
Solid knowledge of & experience with .NET Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Good working knowledge of data modeling and normalized database design
Experience with programmatic processing of XML
Working knowledge of Visio for software architecture documentation
.NET Web application design & programming skills highly desired
Must have insightful, logical problem solving skills
Willingness to gather requirements, design, implement, and maintain projects
Proactive communication & planning skills
May be required to lead certain projects
Able to self-manage
