Software QA

Define and implement solution tests

· Test existing functionality within the solution

· Test improvements and new features within the solution in simulated and real store environments

· Ensure new features work as designed and do not inadvertently interfere with other functions of the system (e.g., cause side-effects)

· Document and report exceptions found in the testing process to the programming and deployment staff

· Record and track problems found during solution testing or solution pilot

· Develop automated test scripts (when reasonable) that can be reused in future testing

· Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent

· Four years testing experience in a Microsoft Windows application environment

· · Experience with Microsoft Office toolset (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Aptitude for detailed work and follow-up activities

· Good written and oral communications skills.

· Good problem solving skills

· Ability to work independently without detailed supervision

· Experience with HP Mercury Toolset (Quality Center, WinRunner, QuickTestPro) preferred.

· Visual Basic, C#, .Net programming experience preferred.

· SQL Server query experience preferred.
