Manager, Engineering Test/Software Quality Assurance

* Responsible for formulation and implementation of testing strategies * Manage automated tools to support product development documentation and engineering process improvement * Responsible for resourcing and tracking approvals in the budget, headcount, and expense * Responsible for development of testing skills across the team

Works closely with Engineering Development, Advanced Technology, Application/Development and Product Management to create, develop, and commercialize effective digital mammography products *

Responsible for ensuring compliance with external and internal audits

* Understand good Engineering practices and sound test methodologies * Knowledgeable and experienced in Agile development/project management methodologies is a plus * Staff, develop, organize, and manage teams of technical associates. Schedule and manage projects and allocate resources effectively * Effectively represent test engineering department interests internally and externally; this includes setting and managing expectations internally and externally to meet changing program requirements. * Capability to solve technical and management problems * Ability to work well with diverse groups of people in addition to partnering with application/development managers * Ability to support leadership in promoting the process and tools leveraged by the T&V organization outward to key partners and stakeholders *

Manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and adapt to changes in program priorities * Communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.

* Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering.

* A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in system and software test environments to include development and execution of informal and formal test plans, test scripts, test cases and test specifications. * Medical equipment or other equipment involving complex, multi-components systems is a plus * Experience with automation tools for testing applications * Experience with Agile methodology is a plus * Experience with testing software products

* Experience developing products in a regulated environment * Minimum of 3 years experience in project management and management of team(s) and associates
