Quality Assurance Analyst

• Works with the business users to identify new or enhanced systems, products and processes which advance business objectives. • Develops, manages, and executes all phases of quality assurance testing, including analysis of product requirements to produce test requirements • Development and execution of functional/system test plans for client's systems. • Provide technical and business support to system users. • Develops and maintains knowledge of business processes supported by software systems. • Reviews and documents business activity, systems, products, and processes. • Elicits and documents business requirements. • Translates business requirements into highly specified project briefs. • Performs and supports system testing. Documents and reports issues discovered during testing, and follows up for resolution. • Participates in requirements reviews, design reviews, and change control activities. • Participates as a member of the Scrum development team. • Addresses and follows up on production system defects in a timely manner. • Participates with the software testing team in the tracking and resolution of issues. • Participate in design meetings and present the strategy for testing. • Expresses recommendations based on client desires, product architecture, cost, quality, and delivery timelines. • Ensure cross-team and cross-department coordination and cooperation. • Other tasks as assigned by management. • Various requirements analysis techniques, including: stakeholder interviews, joint application design, use cases, and prototyping. • Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel. • Software requirements specification. • System and user acceptance testing. • Microsoftฎ Office, including Visio, Microsoftฎ-Project, and Word.
